Special Orders 

Normally, it is not possible for us to recreate a piece of jewelry.  Many of the items we use such as the lampwork or antique beads are one of a kind and it may be impossible to match them.  Also, what we enjoy about creating jewelry is the infinite opportunities to create wearable art.  If we start mass producing it is no longer creative nor does it give us pleasure to "re-create."

That being said, If you see something you like but it is sold, the wrong size or something like that, feel free to e-mail us and ask if we can make something similar for you.  Sometimes we can find similar beads and can create something that is quite similar in style.  Or if you have a bead or special treasure you think would look good in one of the styles you see on our pages we can talk about a special order.

There is no extra charge for special orders and we will e-mail a photo to you for approval before you commit to purchasing the item.  So feel free to e-mail with your ideas and questions.  If possible we would be glad to create a piece just for you.

Sizing

Sizing is important in bracelets.  If the bracelet is too tight it will not be comfortable to wear.  If it is too large it could slip off and you would risk loosing your bracelet.  We try to list approximate sizes with all the bracelets listed.

To determine your wrist size, measure it at the wrist bone.  If we say that a bracelet will fit up to a 7" wrist, it means we do not think anyone with a larger wrist could comfortably wear that piece.  If your wrist is 6.5", a 7" bracelet will be good.  If your wrist is 5.5" a 7" bracelet might be too large.

Bracelets can usually be made smaller or larger to fit your wrist.  Brangles (those two and three piece bangles) can often be made smaller or larger as well.  A bangle could only be made smaller if it can be adjusted at all.  I can also usually make some adjustments in size on watches.

If you see a bracelet, brangle or bangle you like but it is the wrong size, e-mail us and see if it can be adjusted.  We will not make adjustments that we feel lessens the quality of the piece but if we can adjust it we will be happy to do that for you at no extra cost.

What is 14K Gold Filled?

In today's market the cost of gold has sky rocketed making 14K gold almost prohibitive to work with.  There are less expensive options- Vermeil is gold plated over sterling silver.  The gold plating layer however is not very thick and it does not have a very long life so we do not use vermeil or gold plated wire.

Instead we use 14K gold filled wire and sheet metal.  To make gold filled wire, gold is formed into a hollow tube and filled with brass or a thin sheet of gold is wrapped around the brass and bonded.  We choose to use 14K gold filled wire because it has the thickest layer of gold over the brass base.  Although it is over brass and not sterling silver, gold filled offers the thickest layer of gold and a long beautiful life.  If you would like to read more about gold filled wire check out this website- artisanplating.com

Payment

Payments through our shopping cart are made through Paypal.  It is safe, easy and convenient for the customer and the seller.  We can issue refunds if necessary through Paypal as well.

We also have a Virtual Terminal and can accept credit cards without going through Paypal.  If you would like to pay with your credit card and do not have a Paypal account e-mail me and I will send you my telephone number so you can call and give me your credit card information.  We do not think it is safe for you to e-mail that kind of information so would prefer for your security to have you call me with the numbers.  We use a Paypal Virtual Terminal and it has very high security.

Checks are not our favorite form of payment, however if you would like to pay with a check we will consider it.  E-mail me for an address to mail the check to.  We will not ship the item until your check has cleared however.  We have trusted people in the past and mailed out right away and have been rewarded with checks that bounce and customers that do not follow through on repayment.

Shipping

We ship through USPS Priority Mail.  We package very carefully but have no control over the mail.  For that reason we prefer to automatically add insurance to your shipping costs. 

Returns

We want you to be happy with your Ninde' Designs purchase.  If the piece does not fit or you do not like it, we will accept returns within two weeks of the purchase.  If you want to return the item, e-mail us to let us know what the problem is and let us know you would like to return it.  If there is something we can change to make it right for you we will do that at no additional cost (unless you are asking to change a lower cost stone to diamonds of course.) 

When you return your item you will need to insure it.  If we never receive it or it is damaged we will not issue a refund.  It is safest to insure the package so your investment is protected.
