| Maybe tie
dying is one of those things that date you and only those who are above a
certain age would know why these beads were called Tie Dye. For
those of you who remember, don't these beads have the look of a tie dyed
shirt? Not as neon colored though I suppose.
Nancy from Braker Beads made
and named this bead set and it seemed a good name for the watch I made
with her beads. The beads have been pressed to a nice thin rectangle
that fits beautifully on the wrist. They are etched to a satiny soft
feel and, as you can see, are in a wonderful blend of blues with a hint of
mauve. I paired them with some Liz Long etched disks and Bali silver
beads. They are on a 14 ga. sterling silver armature so it fits and
wears like the brangles sold on this site.
This is a Geneva watch
that is water resistant. The pin is pulled so the battery stays
fresh for you.
