~Purple Rhain~

Purple Rhain-  This necklace was part of my year of jewelry project in 2006.  Part of my goal was to try new techniques that looked interesting.  This necklace is actually crocheted with thin brass wire.  It makes for a very light weight, lacy looking necklace with lots of movement.  The color scheme is monochromatic.  I used commercial glass beads and handmade lampwork from several different artists.
