Now, what does any of that have to do with this gorgeous necklace made by my sister?  Nothing, well not quite, her beautiful Viking Knit chain on this necklace is what got me going in the first place.  Do you think she will make me edit this?  Hmm,  I guess I better tell you about the necklace!  The focal bead is by Karen Ovington and is one of those classically simple beads that somehow has more presence than you would guess.  It is a soft etched rose more than pink, and has a black line down the center of the bead.  Susan has mounted it on sterling between two black colored bone disks and two silver beads and then attached that to the Viking Knit chain with twisted wire sterling rings and sterling cones. 

I know my middle photo is a little wonky color wise, but the Viking Knit is sterling and not gold.  The necklace is 25" long and can be worn with many different colors and styles.  $75.00
