| Midnight At
the Oasis- Don't the molten bits of silver on these black
beads look like stars in the dark sky? I sometimes get to camp way
up north near the Boundary Waters and the stars in the sky are awesome
when there are no lights to compete! Maybe I should have called this
Midnight in the Boundary Waters, but something about it just seemed
Eastern and mysterious like the stories I read as a child of nomads,
deserts and oasis's. The metal is brass that I shaped,
sanded, hammered and added sterling silver rivets to. It is wired to
the bangle with sterling wire. Added to it are some brass beads,
some gold colored Greek ceramics, Bali spacers and more handmade lampwork
beads. I wrapped the hand crafted clasp with sterling wire. This bangle fits up to a 6.75"
