Galaxy- When I first looked at this dramatic focal
bead the flowing colors drifting across the black base, with the silver
dots floating around them all, reminded me of one of those photographs you
see of outer-space. In the photographs of outer space it is gaseous
ribbons floating among the stars instead of twists of melted glass and
bits of pure silver.
Jennifer Geldard is a master lampworker whose beads are collected just for their beauty. This one is mixed with lampwork beads by Blue Heeler Glass and Liz Long, Bali silver, pressed "beach glass," and Greek ceramics. The colors are so striking against the black. Fits up to a 7.25" wrist. $86.00 |
